When you work with me, you can expect a friendly, easy-going atmosphere where there’s no pressure to be perfect. I know that photo sessions can sometimes feel a little daunting, especially if it’s your first time, so I do everything I can to make the experience relaxed and enjoyable. We’ll chat, laugh, and take things at your pace — whether that means giving little ones time to settle, letting them play, or simply pausing for a breather.
At the same time, I bring a professional approach that ensures we make the most of your session and capture those beautiful, genuine moments that really reflect who you are. My aim is always to create not just lovely photographs, but also happy memories from the day itself.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
You don’t need to worry about a thing. My sessions are relaxed, gentle, and completely child-led. There’s no pressure to pose perfectly or have everyone looking at the camera at the same time—often, the most beautiful photos come from the in-between moments: the cuddles, the giggles, and even the chaos.
I’ll guide you along the way and make sure you feel comfortable, but I’ll also give you the space to simply be yourselves. Think of it less as a photoshoot and more as time spent together as a family—with me there to capture it.
Photos and Delivery
Once your photos are ready, they will be delivered to you digitally via email, along with a secure PIN to download them safely. The number of images you receive will depend on the package you selected, ensuring you get the right amount of moments captured for your family.
I carefully edit each image to bring out the natural colours, warmth, and personality, so every photo reflects the love and connection of your session. This way, you’ll have a beautiful collection of images to treasure and share for years to come.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Two of my favourite places to photograph families are Enniscrone Beach and Belleek Woods. They couldn’t be more different, yet both create such beautiful settings for capturing memories.
Belleek Woods in Ballina has a warm, earthy feel. The tall trees, winding paths, and golden tones of the leaves wrap you in a cosy atmosphere that feels timeless and intimate. It’s the perfect place for families who love nature walks, little adventures, and the magic of being surrounded by woodland.
Enniscrone Beach, on the other hand, feels wide, calm, and open. With soft blues and greys from the ocean and sky, it creates a serene backdrop that’s both simple and breathtaking. Children love the freedom to run, splash, and explore, while parents can just soak in the moment.
Both locations offer something truly special—whether you’re drawn to the warmth of the woods or the soft beauty of the sea, they provide the perfect canvas for relaxed, natural family photography.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
I always keep a close eye on the weather forecast in the lead-up to your session, as natural light and comfort are so important for creating beautiful photos. To make sure we have the best conditions, I’ll confirm your session the day before.
If the weather doesn’t cooperate—whether it’s rain, strong winds, or simply too cold—we’ll postpone and reschedule for a day that works for you. I know how much planning goes into these sessions, so I do my very best to find the soonest possible alternative.
